Second Hybrid AGM Success

Last week, NLCE held our second hybrid AGM in Scunthorpe at Heslam Park Rugby Club, Ashby Road.

Thank you to everyone who attended, both online and in person, and to our guest speakers from Younity, Greater Lincolnshire Careers Hub, and Northern Powergrid for their insightful presentations for our members and guests.

Key outcomes from the resolutions were:

• Our current Directors will continue in their roles, supporting the co-op’s continued growth.

• Members voted in favour of reducing the minimum membership age to 16, helping to encourage greater youth involvement in our co-op, which supports building a diverse membership.

• Members approved the rollout of a Community Benefit Fund, enabling NLCE to support other sustainable projects across North Lincolnshire.
