WE REACHED OUR SHARE OFFER

Our Second Share Offer is now closed! We have exceeded our target amount (£700,000) to fund more solar PV for community buildings in North Lincolnshire, with help from over 180 investors. A huge THANK YOU to those who applied to join NLCE and be part of this!

As well as individuals from the local area and beyond, we received significant investment from North Lincolnshire Town Council and from another renewable energy co-operative. This opens up much bigger opportunities for a renewable energy co-op like ours and we are grateful for the support. We have achieved a huge amount in just a couple of years, and we are excited to see what else we can achieve.

Our share offer is now closed, but if you are local to North Lincolnshire and missed the opportunity to become an investor member, please do get in touch about alternative ways to join. If you are interested in community energy more widely, you can have a look at our administrator Energy4All who manage opportunities to join energy co-ops across the UK, including wind and hydropower projects.

Host Buildings

In North Lincolnshire, construction has already completed on Lindsey Lodge Hospice and Kingfisher Lodge Children's Home. We are going to have a busy 2025 installing more solar on more buildings.

We want to hear from local organisations who are interested in becoming host buildings: installation of the solar panels is free, and the organisation benefits from cheaper energy costs. So far we have helped organisations including schools, community centres, and the local football stadium (the Attis Arena) which is owned and run by a local Community Interest Company (CIC). If you live or work in North Lincolnshire then please get in touch to find out more about whether your organisation is eligible and how you can benefit.
